Tammy (the best mother-in-law in the whole world) always encourages (with her life, not just her words) to see God's blessing in everything. To this she would say if I told her about this: "Praise God you were able to pay for it!" So that's what I'm going to do.
I can remember not but 3 years ago (pre-double income + a job that pays nothing = broke Becky) when I had some car issues. I literally was doing good to live pay check to pay check and that was me really living within my means (meaning I never shopped or ate out). Anyway, my car had issues. But I had no money. So, my car sat in the parking lot at the condos I lived in for over a month. I couldn't drive it but I also couldn't afford to get it fixed. Praise God at that time I literally worked right next door to where I lived and I had great friends and a stellar boyfriend (Chris) to drive me around when needed.
So even though this $861 wasn't a part of our plan. It will work out. It always does.
In many areas of life lately I've been reminded of this verse:
