[Book Club] How's it going?

I wanted to check in with you all to see how it's going?
Anyone started blushing yet? I know I have!

I have a comment assignment for you at the end of this post.

A couple of questions that I have been asked...

Is it too late to join?
No way! I have had several girls ask me the past couple days if they could still do it-- absolutely! If you would go to the original post for this month and leave your info, that way we know who all is doing this thing. Click HERE for the link.

I don't have time to read the whole book, but I want to do this.
If you remember for our first blog post, the author said the book can be read straight through or as a reference (so pick and choose the chapters you want to focus on). She said it is better to read straight through, so if you can make the time, I'd recommend that. But we all have busy lives and something is better than nothing!

(Side note: If you are married, I bet you anything if you show your man some of these chapter titles he would be MORE than happy to help you out with some of your responsibilities at home. Grin.)

I've read the book before, but want to join the discussion.
Well come on! If you've read it before, you are more than welcome to share your insight too!

I don't know how to comment.
I will post an updated blog (hopefully today) on how to post comments since I changed the way comments are done on this blog.

I'm scared to comment because this is such a personal subject.
Girl friend I TOTALLY understand! I am going to STRONGLY encourage that you post anonymously for anything that is personal. We want to make sure that we are respectful of those in our past, present and future. I know some of you (like me) are wide open with sharing thing. But we need to be mindful that the things we post can be viewed by anyone-- today and 10 years from now. A quote that Vicky Wright once told me has stuck with me for years: "I want my husband's name to be safe in my mouth." I have carried this through with really anyone. We want the way we speak about others to be protected.

Now onto why we all joined this study--
the discussion:

Two things to remember when commenting:
1. Remember if it is too personal, comment anonymously!
2. If you are quoting or referring to something in the book, it would be super helpful for all of us if you put a page number

Please answer some or all of the following questions:
-As always: Your name & which book you are reading
-Why did you want to read this? What do you hope to get out of it?
-Has anything made you blush so far? If so what?
-What is one thing you read that really spoke to you?
-Is there anything you've read that you don't agree with? Why?
-Any recommendations for how we can make this online book club work? I'm just going with the flow with things and trying to figure it out as we go. So I gladly open suggestions. :)

See you in the comments!
I just love y'all already... seriously, I am getting giddy over the discussions we could have through this!
