These Two Couldn't Be Any Cuter

This past weekend my brother, Katie and Emery came for a visit. Katie came up with this genius idea a couple of months ago for us to each go to the other's house every month. So this month was their trip to us. this has been so great to see them once a month and to know that our girls will grow up closer.

We headed out to the pumpkin patch at Memorial Drive United Methodist Church on Saturday to snap a few photos of our families. Here are some of my favorites.

This one is hands down my favorite from the whole day. Emery took more of an interest in Karis this trip. Poking her, patting her and open mouth kissing her on the head were her favorites. And of course saying, "baa-bee" in the sweetest most high pitched voice you've ever heard.

It's ridiculous what a beautiful family they are. It is impossible for them to take a bad picture.

My niece is the cutest one year old you've ever seen. I used to be so afraid that I wouldn't be able to think that my future kids were cute because she's so adorable. Thankfully I think Karis is cute... ridiculously cute.

She is a kitty kat for Halloween/Fall Festival this year. I made a big black tutu and attached a fur tail (same material as the ears), black onesie, and this adorable headband.

The girls with their Gigi and GPaw. Emery is a lot more mobile that Karis.

Our family. Every day Chris says, "I just love our little family." I do too.

This one cracks me up every time I see it. Karis' black headband filled in the gap perfectly. And it looks like Ems is checking her out.

Emery is walking EVERYWHERE. She did laps around our house the whole time she was here.

It was a fabulous weekend. Pure bliss.
