We are in the TEENS!!!

How is this even possible that baby girl will be here in nineTEEN days?!! Doesn't it seem like I just wrote this post saying we were pregnant?!

For those that like the constant play-by-play: things are still progressing-- Mucous plug is gone (gross) and she has dropped (I'm 99% sure). HOWEVER: Don't sound any alarms! With every sign of progression it could mean I'm hours away from going into active labor or weeks away.

Chris and I have had such a great weekend. We have marked off our remaining weekends for "JUST US." We want to soak up every minute we have left with just us together.

Granted most of those minutes have been us just dreaming about Karis, saying things like: "She is really going to be here... any day... I can't wait to hold her... I can't wait to see those little toes... I can't wait to see what her face looks like..." and on and on we go dreaming about her life.

Here are some pics from our weekend:

Guess who got their wish?!! We went to the Melting Pot on Friday night for date night and had a BLAST! We are huge lovers of cheese fondue and not the biggest sweet people. So we got an extra portion of cheese fondue and skipped the chocolate at the end. Shocking, I know!

Saturday was Emery's First Birthday Party! You know this Aunt and Uncle wanted to hop in the car and drive straight there. But we knew it was best for Karis and us to follow doctor's orders to stay put... just in case. BUT my brother had the genius idea for us to Skype in for the party. It was just like we were there. People stopped to chat with us. And we had front row seats to her opening her presents and having her cupcake! Ems learned a new trick that day from her Mimi-- when you ask her how old she is, she'll hold up her pointer fingers and smile real big. Such a smart big girl!
