Her name is Erin Woods.
If you don't know her, well let me introduce you to her.
Erin is one of the most genuine people you will ever know. A complete breath of fresh air. She's one of those people that when you ask her "How are you you?" She'll give you an honest answer. I love that about her. She never has on the Christian mask. With Erin, what you see is what you get. One of my other favorite things about Erin is how well she loves others. I mean every time you are with her you feel like you've received a giant hug. It's a real gift she has. She doesn't try to live in the Christian mold, but she doesn't try to break it either. She just strives to be who God has uniquely created her to be.
So why am I introducing you to Erin?
Well she just released her first album. And friends, it's good.
My favorite part about any musician is the lyrics. And Erin held true to herself-- they are honest and deep. There were so many songs I wondered if she'd read my journal. And there were so many songs that will get written in my journal on days I can't find the words.
In case you are wondering, my favorite song on her album is "Time Well Spent." When I hear it I think about my brother and the "Time Well Spent" on me. And I pray that some day others will sing this song about me too.
